Top Tips for Arranging a Hen Party
First find out which special ladies the hen wants at her party and ask her what kind of party she’d most enjoy.
Get the hen to send you all her guests’ mobile numbers and email addresses.
Set a budget with all the girls. This can be a tricky compromise, but the worst thing is for anyone to feel they are going to be massively out of pocket after a hen weekend.
Set a date for the big event. If a few people can't make it, don't try and change the date a million times; there are always going to be a couple of people that can't do a certain night.
Send out your invites to the party. You can set up a private Facebook group, or if you prefer real invites.
If you are catering in a house then email all the girls asking them to specify dietary requirements.
Pre-book the best deals and write everything down so you can keep organised, including all the numbers of venues / activities you have booked – to be safe, confirm everything 24-hours before the big night.
The day before the hen party, when you have made all the arrangements, send everyone loose timetables of the weekend plans (but try not to sound too much like a teacher!).
Arrange a time and a place to meet and make sure you have a full mobile phone battery so if anyone gets lost you can tell them where to go!
