Review: My 15 year old son went into Sheila Hurst florist in Park Gate to purchase some roses for his girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. My son asked for a dozen mixed roses and was told the price for this would be £40, however they over-charged my son by £10 and charged £50 to my card. Following this incident, I went into Sheila Hurst to query this and was spoken to in a rude, undermining and unhelpful manner. The woman in the shop proceeded to call my son a liar claiming that they were always £50 to which I replied is extortionate. The woman then continued to shrug her shoulders at me and said not to forget that that includes the packaging!! Her attitude was disgusting. This issue has still not been resolved. More so, the bunch of roses my son received were appalling and looked like something you could purchase next door from the Co-Op for £10. I feel my son was prayed upon and seen as a vulnerable lonesome child and that Sheila Hurst took advantage of this opportunity. I will NOT be using this florist again and would not recommend to anyone.

Review: I have used Sheila Hurst for many years. They did my wedding flowers back in 1981. I currently live overseas and I phone to order flowers for my mother 2 or 3 times a year. Always a pleasure and Mum is always astounded at the quality and arrangement of the bouquets and arrangements that I choose. All prices are quoted upon ordering and before my card is charged, including delivery. And delivery is always on time. I wouldn’t use anywhere else.

Review: I used interflora to send my poorly friend a lovely bouquet of flowers and they used Sheila Hurst florist in park gate . I am absolutely disgusted they arrived with broken stems , wilting and nothing like the large bouquet advertised more like something pulled from a hedgerow or garage forecourt. Saddened for my friend who received these and feel scammed ! Avoid this florist at all costs. Interflora should be making sure the florists working on their behalf are reputable.
Update… interflora customer services were fantastic and agreed with the photo’s of the sent flowers we’re not acceptable and to interflora’s standard as they used Shelia hurts of park gate they have since used another local florist to send a new bouquet today ( following day) and they are beautiful. Thank you interflora for your support and new delivery to her ! Eternally grateful.
However I hope in the future interflora can give options to which florists people use as I will be worried the order goes to the unprofessional and money robbing Sheila Hurts of Park gate again !
